SOCIAL EVENTS - Friendly Park - Greensboro Swim & Tennis Club

Friendly is not just a club, it is a year-round community. We sponsor social events for adult frogs and their families during the summer months and throughout the year.

During the summer season, enjoy our annual Memorial Day Cookout, Swim for Cancer dinner, Fourth of July Fun and Games, Friday Float Nights all summer long, our own Ed's Tacos (the best around!), Tween Party Night, Adult Socials, and concluding with our Labor Day Barbecue and Synchronized Swimming Program. In addition to our pool activities, Friendly has lighted tennis courts with clinics for both adults and kids.

BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! - After the pool closes for the summer we offer our annual Frogtoberfest party, our Frogs on Ice held at Winterfest in downtown Greensboro in early December, Frogs on Snow ski trip to Wintergreen (typically around the MLK holiday), and an Easter Egg Hunt for our littlest frogs in the springtime.

Friendly's 2026 Memorial Day Weekend cookout

Join us on Monday, May 25, for our annual Memorial Day cookout where we will serve burgers and hot dogs for pool members beginning at 12 p.m. (an hour after we open at 11 a.m.). Tennis Court Temporarily Closed for Maintenance

In preparation for the upcoming season, Friendly Park Swim & Tennis has contracted with a vendor to service and replace lighting on the tennis courts.The courts will be closed starting Tuesday, May 12.
