Morning Classes at O2 on May 2 to Support American Cancer Society

Get Jumping with Frogs for a Great Cause!

Join Friendly members (and longtime swim team parents) Darren Watson, Lynn Wicker and Ann Cantrell for exercise classes to benefit the American Cancer Society!

Darren, Lynn, Ann and our friends at O2 Fitness in Friendly Center will lead a series of workouts the morning of Saturday, May 2, where day pass fees are waived (you’ll still need to sign a liability waiver) when you make a gift to the Friendly Swim Team’s 2026 “Swim for Cancer” fundraising efforts.

A representative from the American Cancer Society will be present that morning to collect donations at the door via cash, check, and a QR code to the ACS fundraising portal. Note: Minors are not permitted unless they are on an existing membership.

• 8:00: Define with Lynn (Mind-Body Studio)
• 8:30: HIlT with Catherine (Main Studio)
• 9:00: Ride w/Michelle & Lynn (Cycle Studio)
• 9:30: BodyPump Heavy w/Rebecca & Darren (Main Studio)
• 9:30: Vinyasa Flow Yoga w/Allison (Mind-B)
• 10:45: BodyJam w/Ann (Main Studio)

Donations are always welcomed even if you can’t attend!

The Friendly Swim Team regularly leads all pools in the Greensboro region in fundraising each year in the “Swim for Cancer” program coordinated by the Community Swim Association. Our swimmers raised more than $43,000 in 2025 – and this morning of exercise classes is Friendly’s first step toward topping that total in 2026.
