We are happy to continue our partnership with Precision Tennis, which has joined forces with Carolina Tennis and Paddle, to offer youth tennis clinics at Friendly Park this spring. You are also invited to a Parent Information Session for youth spring tennis, Thursday, April 21 at 5 PM on the tennis courts at Friendly. Please enter from Elam Avenue.
Spring clinics are open to members and guests. Registration is not required for the open house.

Monday & Thursday Sessions Available
JUNIOR CLASS SCHEDULE:
Ages 5 yrs - 8 yrs RED BALL - 45 Minute Session
TIME: 3:40 PM - 4:25 PM Each
SESSION FEE (per week): $90/once, $140/twice
Classes limited to 6 kids per class
Ages 10 & Under ORANGE BALL - 55 Minute Session
TIME: 4:30 PM - 5:25 PM
SESSION FEE (per week): $120/once, $190/twice
Classes limited to 8 kids per class
Ages 10 - 16 GREEN BALL BEGINNER - 55 Minute Session
TIME: 5:30 PM - 6:25 PM
SESSION FEE (per week): $120/once, $190/twice
Classes limited to 8 kids per class
Ages 11 - 16 YELLOW BALL EXPERIENCED - 55 Minute Session
TIME: 6:30 PM - 7:25 PM

MEET TENNIS INSTRUCTOR, TED WALKUP:
Ted is a USPTA Certified Professional originally from Dayton, Ohio. Following his collegiate tennis career at Northern Kentucky University, Ted has worked in the tennis industry. He was the high-performance junior coordinator at Kattering Tennis Center in Dayton before serving as a tennis professional at Greensboro Country Club from 2014-2021. Experienced with all levels of junior and adults, he also has led Gate City tennis and Cardio tennis clinics. He currently lives in Greensboro with his wife, Miliana, and dog, Archie.
