2022 INVOICES - CHECK YOUR EMAIL

Invoices were emailed mid-March from bookkeeperfpi@gmail.com. If you were on a bank draft last year and there are no charges, it will simply continue. Otherwise, 2022 dues must be received by May 1 or there will be a $25 late fee.   

MEMBERSHIP REFERRAL CREDIT

Do you have friends who might be interested in joining Friendly? We still have some memberships available.

Members who refer a new FAMILY membership for 2022 will receive a $100 credit on their 2023 membership dues. Be sure your friends include your name on their application so you can get the credit. 

SELLING YOUR FRIENDLY PARK STOCK 

We love our members and hope they’ll be part of our Frog family for years to come. If you must cancel your membership, please email membershipfpi@gmail.com by May 1. We will then sell your stock to new incoming members and you’ll receive your refund at the end of the 2022 fiscal year (November timeframe). 

Notifications after May 1 will be put on our 2023 Member Termination List.

ANNUAL MEMBER WORKDAY AND EASTER EGG HUNT 

Thank you to the members who came out to the workday on Saturday, April 9. A hardworking crew got a lot done and the pool area will be in great shape for Memorial Day weekend!

We couldn't have asked for better weather on Sunday, April 10 for our Easter egg hunt. It was well attended by lots of young frogs and tadpoles! 

TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL

Friendly Park is excited to welcome Carolina Tennis & Paddle and their new program to our courts this year! Working in partnership with Precision Instruction, Carolina Tennis & Paddle will be offering both tennis and pickleball instruction and events.

That's right, the popular sport of pickleball is coming to Friendly! Pickleball lines will be painted on two courts and we're ordering mobile nets, paddles and balls. 

Director of Tennis, Ted Walkup, will be leading our tennis clinics for juniors and adults, and Director of Pickleball ,Chris Kepko, and Head Instructor, Jody Petty, will be offering new pickleball clinics for members to try this emerging sport! More info to come.

Junior (youth) tennis spring clinics begin April 25. 

FRIENDLY WATER POLO LEAGUE

Water polo is coming back to our pool this summer! Registration information will be available soon but here are few details to help you better plan what will sure to be a fun and active summer at Friendly! 

Who: For rising 6th – 9th graders. No experience necessary to join but must be confident in deep water. 

What: Water polo instruction in a fun & friendly setting, with an opportunity to play weekly matches against teams from other pools in Greensboro. 

When: Month of June (1 practice, 1 game per week)

Practices: Sundays from 11 AM - noon at the Erin Harris Pool at Friendly Park beginning June 5. ($10 per practice, first practice free). 

Game Nights: Thursday evenings (June 9, 16, 23, 30) at Hamilton Lakes pool 8:00 PM and 8:45 PM  ($10 one player or $15 a family per game night).
