Friendly Park Board of Directors 2023

It is time to select a new volunteer board for Friendly Park.   If you have always wanted to be more involved at the pool, now is your chance!!   We are currently looking for members to serve as Vice President, Secretary, Membership Chair (we need one more person), Marketing Chair, and Social Chair.   

• Vice President responsibilities include running our monthly meetings when the president is unable to, and assisting the President in completing all necessary tasks to keeping meetings and Board business running smoothly.
• Secretary records and distributes the minutes of all Board meetings.
• Co-Membership Chair handles new member applications and incoming questions from prospective new members. Will be assisted by current Co-Membership Chair who has been serving in this role for the last two years. 
• Marketing Chair responsibilities include placing ads in neighborhood newsletters, Facebook posts, yard sign distribution, and Friendly Park merchandise promotion. 
• Social Chair responsibilities include coordinating and organizing social activities at the pool. Fortunately, this role is assisted in abundance by our pool manager, Erin Harris. Erin oversees the traditional Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day festivities, as well as Tween Night. The Social chair will assist Erin and come up with additional activities of interest for members.

On Labor Day we will have an all-member meeting after our Annual Synchronized Swimming Performance. Our proposed board will be presented and voted on. So far, here is the slate for the Friendly Park 2023 proposed board.
