Friendly Park Update: April 21, 2021. We will be open and at full-capacity this summer!

Warmest greetings to all our Friendly Park members,

We have been hard at work preparing to welcome everyone back, and to Splash into Summer at Friendly Park!  It is with great pleasure we can announce that in accordance with CDC guidelines and the NC Dept of Health and Human Services regulations, we will:

• Be able to open the pool with 100% capacity
• Not need to utilize the online reservation system
• Have operating hours of Monday – Saturday from 11:00 – 8:30 pm and Sundays from 12:00 pm - 8.30 pm
• Offer a full menu at the snack bar
• Welcome guests of members during the week

To maintain an appropriate level of caution, we will:

• Require masks during entry, use of the bathrooms and ordering at the snack bar
• Encourage our members to keep 6 feet social distancing
• Block out a 2-hour session on Wednesday mornings for members with special needs / and those at high COVID-19 risk
• Provide cleaning materials and hand sanitizer for members
• Clean and thoroughly sanitize all surfaces at the end of each day

This has been a challenging year for everyone, and we have gotten this far by working together as a community, and that will continue! We look forward to May when we all Splash into Summer!
