Celebrate Independence Day at Friendly!

Kick back and relax at the pool on Friday as we commemorate America's 249th birthday with Friendly's traditional festivities and food!

Some quick reminders:

• Guest fees are $10/person and pre-purchased passes will not be accepted 
• Be mindful of where you park (avoid handicapped spaces, the ramp up toward the entrance, and anywhere you see orange cones)
• Patience is appreciated as managers and lifeguards work to make your day at the pool memorable and fun for the whole family.
• Gates open at 11 a.m. Games begin at 1 p.m. 

We'll do our best to keep the check-in line moving smoothly. Because this is one of the busiest days of the year for the pool, consider bringing your own chairs to ensure seating.

A Note About Property Damage

For those who may not already be aware, a section of the retaining wall in Friendly's parking lot was discovered to be damaged on the morning of Wednesday, June 25, following a home meet the night before against Lake Jeanette.

Pool management and the Board of Directors do not know who was responsible, how it occurred, or whether there was any intent. However, Friendly incurred a small expense in its repair.

Members of Friendly pay a stock fee when joining the club, which makes this shared property. Let's work together to keep the pool, tennis courts, facilities, and parking lots in tip-top shape so that our source for summer fun and leisure remains the envy of Greensboro.
