ABOUT FRIENDLY PARK
We are a fully member-owned, outdoor recreational club that is conveniently located on beautiful, shady grounds near Friendly shopping center.
Friendly Park’s pool opened in the summer of 1958 and is the oldest neighborhood pool still in operation in Greensboro, thanks to the dedicated management of our members and staff.
In 2019, we named our pool after Erin Harris, our pool manager and swim team and synchronized swimming coach, in honor of her decades of service to Friendly Park and its members.
Friendly Park is run by a volunteer Board of Directors elected at the end of each summer by current members. The Board directs the administration and maintenance of the facilities. Decisions are made with input from the pool manager (including staff) and the members of Friendly Park. The day-to-day operation of Friendly Park is performed by our pool manager and staff.
Our club is located at: 2215 Mimosa Drive, Greensboro, NC 27403 in Guilford County.
