Friendly Park Facilities

A wonderful facility to satisfy almost any recreational needs

Our Clubhouse           Our attractive and spacious clubhouse was buil in 2000 and houses the lifeguard office, full men's and women's dressing rooms and showers, and fully stocked snack bar. The wide, covered area is popular for all ages as a gathering point and on those days when there may be a little too much rain in the air.

Our Pool           Our expanded pool was completed in 2000 and features a full 6 lane x 25 yard competition area as well as a protected "cove" for the younger set. Depths vary from 3 feet at the shallow end to 12 feet in the diving area. An expansive concrete deck area surrounds the pool on all sides.

Our Tennis Courts       We feature a wading pool for children or parents who are not quite ready to tackle our main pool. This area is for toddlers through six years old. These children must be accompanied by an adult over sixteen.

Our Gazebo           One of the most popular gathering areas for all our members, but especially the teenagers, is our large gazebo. Complete with picnic tables, ceiling fans, and full electricity, this structure is used for many of our parties and other events.

Our Deck          With our new deck boasting right at 2000 square feet for dining and sun-bathing our members never feel cramped for space. Our new deck was just completed for the 2010 season. Located adjacent to the pool deck, this wooden structure allows a more out of the way setting, and at certain times of the day some shade.

Our Volleyball Court and Soccer Field       A large open area used for volleyball, soccer, and other activities dominates the north side of the Friendly Park property.

Storage           As with any facility there is a great need to have a large amount of storage areas to house the supplies and equipment that are required to adequately run our pool and tennis areas. We have made a concerted effort to make these areas as much a part of the surroundings as possible.
